Codos Joins NVIDIA Inception Program
Zug, Switzerland—April 2nd, 2024—Codos, a Swiss-based startup aimed at providing digital solutions for measuring and rewarding sustainable behavior, today announced it has joined NVIDIA Inception, a program that nurtures startups revolutionizing industries with technological advancements.
Codos is developing the Codos app, which uses a machine learning (ML) model that revolutionizes transportation mode detection to automatically identify the chosen mode of transportation, and then calculates the amount of CO2 emissions avoided compared with a similar car commute. The Codos app creates anonymized data sets that can be used in an organization’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting for Scope 3 emissions.
Codos plans to use the resources available through NVIDIA Inception, including access to NVIDIA’s state-of-the-art developer network, technology support, and free cloud credits, to help the scalability of the Codos’ platform ahead of product launch later this year. The program will also offer Codos the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading experts and other AI-driven organizations.
“Joining NVIDIA Inception is a significant milestone in Codos’ journey to motivate people around the world to change their commuting patterns away from regular combustion engine cars and towards environmentally friendly modes of transportation that have an immediate and measurable CO₂-avoidance effect,” said Dr. Andree Welker, CTO of Codos. “As we prepare to launch the Codos app to market, Inception’s resources will prove invaluable in our efforts to scale and enhance our ML model for automatic transportation mode detection using NVIDIA’s groundbreaking advancements in AI.”
